I use pretty much just this to level my affliction warlock. Press three times, next mob, repeat. Generally wait 2-3 seconds after applying dots on each mob before switching to the next to let minion (Voidwalker generally) keep aggro as long as possible. If one of the spells in your chain miss the target, you can easily reapply with left, right, or middle click....
