You can turn off the WOW clock from the interface options of WOW. Go to "Interface Options" and click on the Display tab. Near the top-right, uncheck the "Show clock" feature. :D

hey. what i really want to be able to do is to move the blizzard default clock which i find rather annoying in its curent location, or just turn it off completely. if u can figure out how to do that i will use this mod in a heartbeat

Ok here is the new version of myClock for WotLK and patch 3.0

@ArtemusBluestone: you were right about the renaming. Just copy the whole folder and name the copy myClock2. Then change all filenames myClock* into myClock2*. Then in all the files (use notepad) do the same: replace "myClock" by "myClock2". That should do the trick ^o^

Love this add on... But I have a rather odd question. How would I manage 2 running instances of this? (I have two time zones I need to track and I don't want one of those crammed-full-of-crap-I-don't-need ones...) Is it possible? I've tried duplicating folders and renaming, etc.

myClock is working fine with the patch 2.4 so I just updated the toc number.

myClock is working fine with the patch 2.3 so I just updated the toc number. @Jaim Sandar: you're right.

As far as I can tell, this is still the same version as from last September, but it still seems to be working with no problems. In case I never said it, thank you for the AddOn that I need 24/7.

I seem to be having a problem where the Day/Night button won't stay hidden. Is anyone else seeing this?

After deleting the myClock section in layout-cache.txt, I can now see the clock frame ingame. So far, so good, after several logout/logins. Thank you! I applied this information to the problem I mentioned I was having with Xolpass. I deleted the Xolpass section in layout-cache.txt and deleted the Xolpass savedvariables files. That also seems to be working again. ThankyouThankyou!

@Jaim Sandar: the position of the frames is saved in layout-cache.txt in the World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\accountname\realmname\charactername\ directory. In this file you will see the position of myClock. you can remove it or change it to: Frame: myClockFrame FrameLevel: 1 Anchor: TOPRIGHT X: 0 Y: -28 W: 70 H: 24 That should do it.

The myClock frame still doesn't show up, even after I deleted the myClock.lua files in SavedVariables which fixed it at the office. Since I can't access the option frame with /myclock, I can't click on the Default button to reset the position. It would have been easy if you hadn't removed the /myclock command. Now what do I do?

@Jaim Sandar: I guess the issue at your home is the position you gave to myClock versus the new lock/unlock system. You will need to reset this (cleaning SV is a good idea but I'm not sure this is enough). Anyway I completely removed the /myclock slash command as I added a new right click menu to replace it. As for hints on the lock/unlock system it is not actually new. Previously I used a sort of a hack/bug to lock/unlock the frame (= always movable but the size of the movable part was 1x1 pixel or full size if unlocked). I used it because the moving of the clock was a lot smoother. Now the correct way to do it is satisfying so I'm back inline with the normal way ^o^

Whoops! It's not working. When I logged on, there is no myClock on my screen, and when I type /myclock the response is "Type '/help' for a listing of a few commands". Edit: I tried it on my office computer; this time I deleted all of the toons' savedvariables for myClock. It works on that computer, although there is still no response to /myclock. I can right click on the myClock frame and use the dropdown menu, but no /myclock control. I'll try deleting the SV files at home and see what happens. Thank you.

I downloaded 1.9 and will try it tonight. I am VERY glad to see that you took care of it. I would be lost without myClock. I have been fixing and expanding an abandoned AddOn called Xolpass http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info7547-Xolpass0.42fanupdate.html" target="_blank I am only recently learning lua and xml, but I am trying my best. Maybe this "new lock/unlock system" you mentioned has something to do with why the Xolpass frame isn't easy to keep on the WoW screen. Gee, that's sounds like what was happening with myClock!! If you have any hints you can give me, I would be very thankful. Just in case you care, my email address is pjstewart@bigfoot.com. I am also going to make a "right click menu to access the options" for Xolpass, so I will be examining your code for clues to that. I already have an idea how it must be done, but need some specifics.

@Jaim Sandar: Try the new 1.9 version. Should be better ^o^

I have finally made a new version. The new lock/unlock system was needed for patch 2.2. I added a right click menu to access the options which is much more natural than a slash command. I also received contribution for spanish translation so now myClock localized for spanish people ^o^ Yay!

With WoW 2.2, MyClock 1.8 now won't stay where I put it. When I log in it is moved somewhere that I can't see it. If I click on the Default button, it moves to the default position near the MiniMap, but as soon as I click on the "Lock" button, it disappears again. Also, when I log off and back in the clock frame has moved somewhere else again.
