Some reason I'm getting a problem with it. It's not like a major LUA issue. For some reason when I bring it up, and I look under a specific profession tab, it's list all the things i know under Available Now. It might be doing it under the location tab too, but I don't know enough to actually check it. EDIT: I did the same thing under my other char, and all the stuff in dalaran is listed as available when i know it. so i'm guessing it does it with the location tab too. Is it just me so far, or do others have this issue as well?

I have the same probs like JohnnieV. Propably it has to do with a change in the original game code in one of the latest patches, because a similar error occurred in Titan TradeCooldown: it said that my leathercrafting druid could now again produce primal mooncloth... O_ô This bug was fixed with the latest TradeCooldown Fan Update.

There are multiple errors in this. Despite having the interface set to show only recipes learnable by me, I will see "certain" recipes which are for other professions. Terribly annoying when going into a new zone and getting excited that you can learn a new recipe, only to find it was really for another profession. (specific example... I am a tailor/enchantor... and some jewelcrafting recipes show up).

assertt failed:braeg stoutbeard has no coridinates i get this error when i fly into dalaran everytime i turned off the recipe rader and it stopped ...if it helps to find bug in a cook/jewelcrafter/fisher/miner...so any options for those would be on oh yeah mage gnome alliance...

New issue seems to have popped up with the new tradeskill linking ability. Now, when looking at someone else's linked tradeskill list, RR thinks it's YOUR tradeskill list and updates your character accordingly. Is there any way to avoid this? Other than not looking at other people's lists that is =P.

I have always had this problem with recipes already known being auto-mapped onto the mini-map generally i could just shut off that option (already-known) now it seems to be turning itself back on and clogging up my minimap. I turn off the check for alternates option also.

@Romualdo I use the German client and still have the problem with the maps not showing up. I checked line 708 in the localisation.lua but there was no error. Any ideas...?

@Tallspirit The problem isn't specifically the recipe in westfall (spiced chili crab). The problem is that if I have RR only show current and future prospects for my character only (not for all characters), I don't end up seeing a lot of recipes that apply, even though I do not know them, and they should. The only way I can get them to consistently show up is if I set it to show me current & future prospects for all of my characters. I've sent a note to the mod author with screenshots showing the issue.

Gorramit - Regarding your question : Also (without ATWS running) if there is an "Uncached Recipe" it says you can display it by mousing over the "?" but there is no "?" to be seen? This was bugging me too. As I could not see a "?" It looks like there is a bug and the "?" has been replaced by a scroll icon, which is in the central pane of the Recipe Radar window, next to the description of the recipe. In this case it would be "Uncached Recipe".

There is an error in the german localisation in file "localisation.lua" in line 709: original line: RecipeRadar_Strings["Valiance Expedition"] = "Expedition "Valianz"" correct line: RecipeRadar_Strings["Valiance Expedition"] = "Expedition \"Valianz\"" Replace it and safe it with an UTF-8-Editor and everything works fine again.

What recipe isn't showing up in Westfall? Kriggon Talsone only sells 4, unless you mean a different vendor.

A lot of recipes I could use aren't showing up, just some of them. For example, one in westfall didn't show up from the guy at the pier near the lighthouse.

There seems to be a problem with the German localization.In areas which have a translation ("Darkshore" = "Dunkelküste" etc.), neither a map nor a vendors list are displayed in Recipe Radar. In areas with equal names ("Azshara" etc.), everything works perfectly.

Problem when working together with Advanced Tradeskill Window - every time one opens recipe radars window, you force ATWS to requery the server for all recipes

found a MINOR error (or so i think) while queuing the server on my hunter. Two designs appear under my list as available now when i actually know them already. those designs are Black Pearl Panther and Truesilver Crab. Can any other JCers Confirm this for me? (i really don't care i'll just ignore them because I love this addon too much to really give a damn)

Hello all! After all of the helpful and encouraging comments, I finally got a working Recipe Radar up for download. At least, I hope it works, heh. It sounds like many of you got by with Yor's version, and I am most thankful for Yor's quick fix and public release! Thank you very much! With 3.0, Blizzard changed the way buttons work with fonts. This was a bit of a problem for Recipe Radar as I use lots of buttons with special font handling code. Yor handled this by commenting out several lines - Recipe Radar worked this way, but it lost some of its color handling. I chose to work out the full fix, and I think it finally does work as it used to, including the different colors. I've also updated the Recipe Radar database with the latest info I could find. This includes a few new old-world recipes and many new WotLK recipes. I also added support for Inscription, though no recipes exist yet for that profession as far as I'm aware. I'll be leveling along with everyone else when the expansion hits, so you should be able to safely look forward to some updates as more recipe information hits the WoW data sites. (Notably missing at the moment are faction vendors, so look for that soon.) I need to thank you all for your patience and, again, the overwhelming encouragement. Hopefully I can keep up with Blizzard a bit better in the future..! Thanks again, and please enjoy Recipe Radar!

Love the mod. I'm LW and Chanting and this really helped me track down the last few vendor patterns I was missing. Just wish it would show drop patterns I am missing also.

Another bug -- Even though I have RR set up to show me "future prospects", they don't show up. Note this only applies to the current character. Future prospects of alts works correctly.

Lots of bugs. Some of those are - 1. some of the items get displayed even when 'already known' is unchecked. Checking and unchecking that option can only make those items go off the list. 2. If radar is open, after learning a recipe, it still shows it as learnable. Closing and reopening radar resolves the problem. Expect it to be automatic. 3. Though some of the recipes are already learnt, radar shows them as learnable. Opening the learnt recipe window and scrolling through all of them, then closing and reopening the radar window can only resolve the issue. 4. Doesnt consider reputation while showing available recipe. Like being a aldor, I shouldnt be able to learn Scryer recipe. So I expect it not being displayed on radar, but it does. 5. It doesnt show reputation level required to learn a recipe. Shows only the level. So even if I have the level (which shows something like 350 of 300...which is weird to see) to learn, there's no way to know why its still showing red and what rep (if it is related to) is required. There might be other bugs. I'm just not able to recall them at this moment. Hope to see these resolved soon. Otherwise I guess I have to learn LUA and fix and publish it. :-)

Not working at all, it still doesn't have new recipes (like the Bear Flank ones in Felwood) and still keeps to list already known recipes.

Hopefully you fixed this bug too: -Seasonal vendors are being auto-mapped in 'expansion' cities, Exodar, Silvermoon, and Shattrath.

MENNONH, I got your problem too. And, clicking on different availabilities or profession don't works, for some mysterious reason you have to DOUBLE CLICK an option (flag/unflag rapidly) to select it...

It seems that the well-known Gatherer-issue (if you teleports from Shattrath to Quel'Danas or back, WoW freezes completely) is related to Astrolabe. Could you change that library with the new, bugfree version?

The latest version seems to refuse to recognize that I already know "Formula: Enchant Ring - Striking," which can be found in Karazhan and a few of the Timbermaw Hold recipes. I've cleared my .lua file, thinking perhaps it got corrupted, and reinstalled the addon as brand new install, but it still shows a green star next to these recipes for the player that already knows them.

Gah! I completely forgot to include several new source files in the 1.25 distribution - thank you everyone for the prompt and thorough reporting of this nasty bug. The v1.26 distribution should be complete, so please try that one at your convenience. My humblest apologies for the irresponsible release!

Astrolabe does not seem to be part of the v1.25 zip-file even though it is referenced in the toc file. I needed to copy it from Gatherer to get it working...

I have the problem that it will work fine on the first login after a new install. However, after that it will always show recipes that I already know as ones that I can learn still. So they will show up on the map and in the program menu.

I recommend merging with the data and feature to include non-world drop mob drops and extra information given at "Recipe Radar updated" at http://www.curse.com/downloads/details/11305/.

I'm not seeing any pre-BC faction vendor recipes. Did you take them out, or is mine buggy?

Just an update to my own question. The mod author posted on his website above that there will be an update coming with the next WoW patch. Here's a snippet from the author, "you might be pleased to hear that a new version (1.25) that includes all of the new 2.4 recipes is under test right now on the PTR. My goal is to have it uploaded and ready the moment 2.4 drops, so be sure to keep an eye out!" Also on his website in the forums, someone posted a link to a fan update for those wanting an intermediate solution.

Is this addon still being maintained? If not, is there an alternative with the newer 2.3 recipes or a fan update anyone might be aware of?

As far as I can tell, AddOn still works with 2.2 .... there is a comment on curse stating RR will be updated as soon as possible with the new recipes...

Can you make a backup addition to this mod? After downloading all the recipes into the R.R. If you end up needing to delete the WTF files, it's good to have it backed up in the R.R. mod itself.
