Got this false-positive: "WTS [Ace of Nobles] [Two of Nobles]1k gold BOTH! CHEAP /w " At least I would consider that a false-positive. Also, when you hit the "Delete All" button, it should close the Report window.

@Gumbus: Mmm... maybe you can explain a bit more on this? In normal situations you would never ever see anything from SpamSentry other than the minimap icon. If you receive spam a small notification text is shown in the chatwindow, but other than that no UI-frame should be visible unless you excplicitly open it to report spam.

I've appreciated this mod for a long time, and cudos on being able to hide the mini-map icon, but... what about the UI frame... must this always be displayed? It gets in the way whiule gaming, there's no need for outside of the cities!

Hey everyone, I have just uploaded a new version of SpamSentry (which should be available soon). It fixes a number of issues that have been reported over the last few days. Amongst others: SpamSentry should now work as intended again on non-english clients and compatibility with WIM should have been restored. SpamSentry also -by popular request- features a new minimap icon that can be turned off from the options when you don't need it. E.g. what is and what isn't working, which version of WIM are you using, do you get to see any error messages and if so: what is the exact message. I have briefly tested with the latest version of WIM, and the two addons seemed to work perfectly fine together. @Shadowjade: I think HonorGoG answered your question better than I would be able to :)

Titan Panel now supports LDB plugins. This addon has LDB functionality so just enable it within Titan Panel. I'll be adding a FAQ answer to the titanpanel.org portal as to how to do this if you are unable to figure it out.

Will you soon have Titan Panel support? I can't get this version to show up on my Titan Panel like the old one did.

Hi everyone, I've spent some time on SpamSentry this week and decided it was in need of a big overhaul. I'm currently finalising the code and will be betatesting the addon the upcoming week. Incoming changes: - Ace3 instead of Ace2 - FuBar plugin removed - LibDataBroker plugin added (backwards compatible with FuBar if you install Broker2FuBar) - Removed the goldfarmer / bot / naming violation reporting Notes on these changes: Overall I want to slim down the addon as I feel that it has gathered a little too much weight over time. Changing to Ace3 and dropping FuBar support are a logical course of action to make this happen. Removing the custom report system is a tricky decision as I am fully aware that a bunch of people are very happy with it. In the end I feel that after the ticketing changes in patch 2.1 the SpamSentry tools offers too little benefit over the normal ticketing system, so I have decided to cut down overhead. SpamSentry is returning to core business: catching spam. I'm planning to show you a new version within a week. Hope you'll welcome the changes. Keep posted! Anea

Here's a new one. When SpamSentry is active with the Armory addon and you receive an alert about mail about to expire from Armory, the subsequent '/ar check' command blows up with ChatFrame errors. I've confirmed that disabling SpamSentry resolves the problem. I'm alerting both authors.

I love this addon, but i have a problem. I use WIM and spamsentry is compatible with it, but now it is blocking every whisper i get in wim, not just the spam. Does anyone hs a solution?

I found that SS somehow got into standby mode, and that's why I was getting loads of spam. "/sentry standby" got it working again :)

I have just updated SpamSentry to solve the most common issues that have been reported over the last week. As for compatibility with other addons (like WIM): All addons are currently at best in a stable beta phase; lots of code is changing by the day. As soon as things settle down at some point next week I will look into the compatibility module. @Arlyn: I didn't notice your comment untill after releasing this version, but you can circumvent the error by commenting out lines 12 and 14 in compatibility.lua.

Please can you try to fix this mod? It doesn't work with the german client anymore. Spamsentry blocks the messages as usual but when I open the window to report the spam, the window is empty, the buttons are empty.

just installed and was spammed in SW. SpamSentry caught the gold spammer but when i went to report it the page was empty and the buttons had no text on them.

I have just updated the addon to work with patch 3.0. As the note above says: some functionality has been disabled until I have had time to do some proper testing. Please stay tuned :)

Anea, last update fixed Ctrl+Cliking but there is a new problem - option "delay chat message to prevent myltiline spam" now always on and I can't turn it off. Cleared .lua's etc but don't work.

Suhov: A small bug crept into the code resulting in the remove-function not working. I'll fix it in the next release. As for the guild-recruitments that get caught: Can you send me a pm, or post a copy of those here? Details about the person sending them would be nice too: what was his level and was he guilded?

Last fersion of SpamSentry block all guild recrutment post in channels (different post by diffrents guilds). Also, I can remove these incorrect repots by CTRL+clicking on them. So i had to clear whole list of blocked spam.

There we go; second update of the day, again with a fix in WhoLib. This should sort out the line 296-problem, and hopefully restore peace and quiet on the world of Azeroth :) Anea

Another heads-up from me: If you run into a WhoLib script-error on line 296, it means one of your addons is using an old version of WhoLib. If you update your addons, or copy the new WhoLib to the appropriate folders the problem should be fixed. Anea

Aaargh... New pc, old version of the titan plugin. Fixed now, deleted the old copy on my pc, hope to never find it again :) Caveldrint: Unfortunatly the only way to scan mail is to actually open it, which in turn will play tricks with your inbox and any addons that work with info from your mailbox.

Since your last update (11.05.2008) the titan plugin doesn't work anymore.

Hello Anea the titan-panel-plugin doesn't work. The numbers of spam-messages shown at the titan-panel-plugin are always "0" although spamsentry has recognised some spam-messages. The plugin doesn't refresh the numbers. Hope you understand what I mean.

Upgrading to the newest version have stopped the mod completely from working for me, doesn't block any messages and I can't get the configuration window to appear either, as if the mod isn't there at all.. It is turned active in the addons menu tho.

I'm happy to see that the titan-plugin would be fixed but it doesn't work :-( It always shows Zero even if there are some entries to report.

Zipfile is fixed (silly stuff with wowace svn), and I also added the fixed TitanBar-plugin to the package.

Something is still messed up in that Zip file. I have doubles of all the files in the "libs" directory. I don't see how that is even possible to have two files of the same name inside the zip, but there they are. I have downloaded twice, opened it on two different computers, opened it with 3 different Zip reading programs and the lib files are all doubles. The current zip is ~300k and when I unpack and skip all the doubles and re-zip it, the file is ~185k. Can you please take another look at the zip package?

@Crushbug: Mistake by me, packed the wrong folder. @BryKrys: The old titanbar plugin is available as a seperate download in the SpamSentry section on Curse. Once I find some time to test with Titan I'll include the plugin again.

The old version came with a Titan plugin, but this is not included in the newer versions. Will there be an update of this, as the old version no longer works? Thanks

Anea: You seemed to have included all the SVN data in this build. It has doubled the size of the mod, and I don't think those SVN files are required for it to run. =)

Hello everyone, I realise it has been a fair while since you've heard from me. But I've decided to undust the project. Which -I hope- you will love to hear. Thank you all for your continued support and feedback, and apologies for my long afk. Version 20080405 has just been uploaded. It's basically the same thing as you are used to, but among some boring technical changes it contains updated filters, and it will now also filter emote, lfg and local defense channels. I'll be checking these and the other fora on a regular basis again, so keep the feedback coming! SpamSentry is back! Anea

Now errors in SpamSentry: core.lua line 493: attempt to compare nil with number. Debug goes to AceEvent-2.0.lua inside AckisReceipeList with TriggerEvent(). Which mod causes problems?
