I've posted Hear Kitty 1.1.3, which adds support for playing sounds on shaman Maelstrom Weapon charges as if they were combo points, and also an option to only play a sound when your combo points hit 5 (not for 1-4).

I uploaded version 1.1.2, which adds support for vehicles that use combo points. The only one I'm aware of is the dragon in the Wyrmrest daily quest Aces High!, but there may be others.

Hmmm, making this work for Maelstrom Weapon is something I hadn't thought of. It'd be a little different to code, but would probably be achievable down the road. I'm also trying to think of ways that this mod could also be useful for deathknights.

Hear Kitty 1.1 is here! In this version, I've added a configuration UI in Interface Options for those whopping two settings that Hear Kitty has. And, probably more importantly, I've rewritten the way that Hear Kitty plays sounds to support rogue talents that allow you to gain more than two combo points at a time, Ruthlessness, which can give you a combo point after a finishing move, and also fixed bugs where sometimes multiple sounds would play simultaneously, making them hard to count. I recommend this update for everyone who uses Hear Kitty.

Hear Kitty is now at version 1.0! The big new feature in this release is that it doesn't require a separate VgerCore folder; it includes the VgerCore files within itself.

Just as a patch-day FYI, WoW 2.2 has a lot of sound-related changes in it. If Hear Kitty is not working properly for you since the patch, I'd still like to hear about it, even if it means waiting for a WoW fix in a future patch. There were several Hear Kitty problems on the 2.2 PTRs initially, but I reported bugs on all of them that I could find and the mod appears to work correctly again now without requiring a new version.
