This addon is designed specially for the Shaman class. It contains a lot of usefull functions no matter which spec you are.

Here are a few off the functions:
- Remind/alert for Elemental Shields and Weapon Enchants when fading or missing in combat (with sound support)
- Show total Windfury damage with options to include advanced info: Crits, misses and which hand the procs come from.
If it procced of Stormstrike, the data from both hits are summed together and adds to the damage.
- Show a message when Lightning Overload procs, optionally together with total damage and number of crits.
- Separate frame allowing for easy Earth Shield tracking and recast
- Show buffs removed by Purge and/or broadcast it to the chat window
- Show spell interrupted by Earth Shock and/or broadcast it to the chat window
- Show when your Grounding Totem aborbs a spell and/or broadcast it to the chat window
- Show when one of your T5 bonuses procs
- Can print messages in MSBT, SCT, Parrot and a few other places.
- Announce to your group whenever you cast Bloodlust/Heroism or Mana Tide
- Uses spellID when avaible, this removes the need of localization in most cases.

Of course you can choose yourself which functions you want.
It is built on Ace2 for increased effiency and perfomance, with low memory footprint.

"/sf" or "/shamanfriend" to show the GUI.

There's a small problem with the earth shield tracker...it doesn't go away when you hide the interface. :(

The Chain Lightning doesn't have any damage yet, but it shouldn't spam it 3 times... Will look into it as soon as Europe get's the servers up. But I'm damn sure it worked on the PTR... Well, maybe I screwed something up. But was it coming in your party chat? Since there shouldn't be any code for sending chat messages at all in that part of the code... Well I guess I just have to wait a few more hours for the servers. Edit: Think I found the problem, just wanna test it on the live server first, so wait a few hours more for the servers to get up... If you wan't to you can open ShamanFriend.lua and edit the following lines: 1721: elseif lo_c / 6 == 1 then 1723: elseif lo_c / 9 == 1 then

Very cool. I already found a bug I'm afraid. On CL overloads, it just spams "Chain Lightning Overload" 3 times on my party window with no damage numbers after it if I have that option checked.

Gilora: It's possible, just like Windfury (not really, but...). The new combat log is awesome! Threatmeters should be able to do the same. bozothecrayon: The wowace site is just for betas. Atm I prefer to stick to releases, but I'm still condering moving over there, with all the others.

I'm curious what changed with the LO part. Is it possible to tell the difference between it and a regular LB/CL now (aside from half the damage)? If so, that's pretty awesome (especially for threat meters that had to guess when it was a LO proc or not :P).

Uploaded a version which I made for patch 2.4. Do NOT use it on 2.3.x since it will not work. Changelog: Version 1.11 - Rewrote close to all parsing code because of the 2.4 patch - Windfury now counts damage from stormstrike as well - Windfury can show which hand the proc comes from - Lightning Overload now works with Chain Lightning as well - Lightning Overload made a lot more reliable (should be close to perfect) - Now uses spellID on most places, which means be a bit faster and a bit more reliable and work in most languages without localization - Reordered some of the options for easier configuration - Updated German localization (thanks blackburni)

Are you sure the addon is loaded? Changing the settings so you can hear a sound is done in the "Alerts" menu.

I am new at making macors, and was wondering how you add sound to your shield notifactions? I have shaman friend installed and am using it. Sorry, one more thing. When i use the /sf ui or /shamanfriend ui nothing happens. What am i doing wrong?

Is there an addon that will show what buffs you've dispelled from an enemy for other classes like how this addon shows you what buffs you've purged?

Ah okay thanks for the info about the tracker not working on oneself :-) was just the fastest to test out. Played around with it abit more, and so far it worked pretty fine in a Party, could not test it in a Raid, as my Shaman is in no Raid group :-) Cant wait to see what additions you do to the tracker (maybe a Fubar integration, or auto hiding if in no Party/Raid) Thanks for the addon for sure

The tracker is not made for using on yourself. And I know that there might be some delay problems. You can finish the casting, but it takes a while before the buff is put on the target, so the tracker will see nothing. However it should update as soon as any damage is received. Again, this is not made for use on yourself. How does it work for you on other targets in party/raid? Do you have a high ping to the server? It will be improved in further versions, this is the first version. I plan to add more customize options to it. Size/info shown etc. If you are using the addon button or your normal actionbar to cast Earth Shield doesn't matter, as it records the buff from the target, not from the buttonclick.

Really like the idea with the ES tracking frame, but a couple of problems with it. First one is just a cosmetic, any way to resize it? other problem is that the tracking is always wrong for me. Example: I cast ES on myself, the tracker only shows the Target name, nothing else, upon second cast on myself it now shows the last charges and time ES had left. So if i recast ES when i only had 3 charges and 3min left, it shows on a recast: Charges=3; Time=3min; Target=Correct name this always happens no matter if i use the normal actionbar slot for casting ES or the recast button on the frame.

Still don't get it what you are talking about, Shaman Friend have no button to cast any buff on the your weapon atm.

I seem to be having the same problem as Zhaneel. When ever I click the weapon buff button I only get Rockbiter and nothing else. For totems however, this is absolutely fantastic and is a great help to me. :)

Thought I fixed it, thanks for reporting though... Will see what the problem is. Has it always been like this or just in the latest version? Edit: Looks like something was changed in the patch... Edit2: Investigating...

Got a little problem with earth shield tracking, if i cast earth shield on myself it works okay, i only get the warning that it has faded when it is completely gone, but when enableing tracking on others, it always warns that earth shield faded just as soon as one charge is spent, and after that it never warns again (except when i recast earth shield, then it warn again when the first charge is spent). noticed a similar problem with some other addon that tracked charges on spells, they tend to go of when a charge is used up.

This is not a function of Shaman Friend, Shaman Friend have nothing built in to cast spells (in the current version). Updates for the future are planed :)

Default position: Upper right corner, next to the lightening shield icon. Icon (no name) for the main hand/off hand buff. It will show the icon for Windfury when I have that cast. But if I click that icon it auto casts RockBiter instead of the shown current/last Weapon enchant (windfury or other).

Hmm, don't really know what you are talking about. Which weapon enchant button in Shaman Friend? And Shaman Friend doesn't show the name of the buff, just Main hand/Off hand.

Maybe I missed it, but I'd really like to change it so that when I click on the weapon enchant button in Shaman Friend after my enchant has faded to be windfury instead of Rockbiter. I constantly hit it (since it shows Windfury faded) and then have to recast from my bars.

Ace2 should be included in the addon as an embedded library, no need to download it.

You also have to download Ace2 to you addon directory. You can find it here: http://files.wowace.com/ You will then see all the things in the screenshot.

Currently I have no plans to add any Totem Bars to the addon since they are so many others out there which does this. Call of Elements, Yata, Numen etc. But since they are not really working they way I like it something might happend, but not in the short future.

@ Blue Glyph: Is it possible to add another feature? Could you insert something like multiple collapsable bars (somewhat like the ones in the zHunter mod) for sets of totems, that can be personalized? It would be awesome to build certain sets of totems for different occasions (healing, tanking, farming, ...) Opening the preferred bar would show the set of totems to use. I hope you understand what I mean due to my English. Greetings from Germany, ThorsLiebling

New version 1.7 - Updated TOC to 20200 patch - Fixed the custom frame positioning to work with 2.2 If you lose the frame, just reset the options, or type /script ShamanFriend.db.profile.display.x = nil; ShamanFriend.db.profile.display.y = nil and then /rl in the console - Added a small attempt to an Earth Shield tracker, please tell me if it works :)
