Finally got some time to work on some things I've been meaning to do for awhile. Version 3.20 adds/deletes several spells and reduces the huge 5 MB memory footprint.

3.18 up with some updates. Totem of Cleansing will probably not show up on non-enUS translations for now, but I have a more permanent fix for the translations and to reduce overall size. I apologize for not updating this stuff earlier, but RL seems to snowball around me in a haze of chaos...

Also for those of you who may be wondering, the other XBar hosted on curse is a Runes of Magic addon, and has nothing to do with my project.

There are 3 sections to the windows, the first section is the bars, which hold the buttons listed in the second section. Each button has to have one or more action, which is defined in the 3rd section. Click on the button you want to set an action, like a spell or whatever, and then click on its action on the right. In the text box to the right, you type in the name of the spell, item, mount, etc... and hit the little save button. I'm pretty sure its all laid out in the readme.txt file in the XCustomBar folder under Usage, though. Beastial Wrath and Rapid Fire are technically castable buffs, if you don't want them to show, just hide them using the interface. You can't sort bars like XCompanionBar because of the way in which it retrieves data from the client. If you want to sort it, just disable that bar and create your own with XCustomBar.

Okay, I am still undable to sort out how to make a custom bar. I go though that custom bar. "Type the appropriate spell name, macro name, or item name in the text box and click Save." Well it don't do squat. The 'new bar' is blank with only the toggle viewing. The instructions are also very vague in details. "Add buttons to the bars by selecting the type of button by clicking the + below the New button" it don't even change the name of anything you 'make' it's always action or spell or whatever you set it to when made. Where do you type in the spell/skill/etc? the long bar at the bottom or the small one to the right that both do absolutely nothing at all when tried with both? I think a more detailed step by step guide is needed, I've been trying to sort this thing out for days so I can fit it into my custom UI. But thuss fare all I am stuck with is the default bars with skills for some class's in a not so usefuk way. Beast Wrath and Rapid fire alone on one bar on my hunter?! Umm.. NO. There also not really 'buffs'. plus there on another bar already mixed in with the pet stuff. Anything that is not for pet care should be on it's own bar, something I keep trying to do but the bar comes up blank each time and trying to config it it only has the 'spell' 'action' named skills and they do squot. And why can't we sort our mounts?

You are right, there are 2 "XBar" addons on curse, one is this, one is something kind of like fubar.. i think.. I'm probably going to have to code dive and post a patch for the bugs reported here.

There's been a few changes in patch 3.1 that haven't been included in XBar v3.17, so here's the ones I've spotted so far: XWarlockBar - Curse of Recklessness has been removed. XTotemBar - Poison Cleansing Totem and Disease Cleansing Totem have been merged into Cleansing Totem. XBuffBar - Paladin - Hand of Reckoning is not listed. XBuffBar - Death Knight - Blood Aura: Replaced with Improved Blood Presence. Frost Aura: Replaced with Improved Frost Presence. Unholy Aura: Replaced with Improved Unholy Presence. (The Improved versions are not needed on XBuffBar, but you could replace with Blood Presence, Frost Presence and Unholy Presence). XPetStuffBar - Could add the new Call Stabled Pet ability? @ Speeddymon: The "latest" version you say is on Curse is actually the same version that is available here and on WoWInterface, all 3 sites have XBar v3.17. DrDoom was just late on updating WoWInterface and Curse! ;)

Saw you rarely check wowinterface anymore, so I hope you check here more often. With the 3.1 Compatibility patch, I'm noticing one small problem. I go to move a bar and it never gets off my mouse cursor once I let go of Ctrl and the right mouse button.. Being a developer I figured out the code to make it stop in game, so until that is fixed anyone with the same problem should use this: /run XCustomBar(barname):StopMovingOrSizing(); Make sure you place the bar where you want it when you type this, and replace (barname) with the name of the bar as it appears within the XCustomBar config. If it's one of the main XBar's thats not a custom one, I haven't looked up that because I haven't experienced the problem with it. In case it's something weird with the name of the bar, the bar that had a problem tonight was XCustomBarMiscDailies, so I did: /run XCustomBarMiscDailies:StopMovingOrSizing(); EDIT: Latest version is on Curse. Released today (4/17)

You can set custom option sets for each character. Type /xbar options for more info. There is also an explanation in FAQ.TXT that comes with it. XCustomBar has its own readme as well, but basically, you type /xcustombar config to open the interface. Type in a name and click to create a new bar. You get 1 spell-type button with 1 action already defined. You can add more buttons by selecting a type and clicking new, then go to the actions to set what it will do.

Okay another small issue. I get it nice and set up how I want, but it uses the same settings across all my toons rather then one for one toon, one for another. Like my main has a -lot- of mounts (not yet at the albono drake yet but close) but I have the mounts she don't really used unchecked. I switch toons and the settings are applied for em as well meaning I have to have every mount enabled so all my toons have access to all their stuff (not all of them are lv 60 yet either, so that means my lv 30 mounts need to still be visible) So my main who has all those mounts has a very long mount bar now, instead of just 4 mounts I wanted to use. I also can't for the life of me sort out how to make custom bars. I tryed to make a custom mount bar for each toon. Although that is also not working cause it will show every bar for each toon on one plus all the mounts, and if I hide one it hides that bar on all my toons so trying to do this is very redundant.. same issue I'm having with the existing bars.. >.> But I add in the skill, and the custom bar remains blank. Be nice to have more documentation on how to make custom bars.. And maybe a settings per toon save so each toon can have their own bar settings. I was hoping to use this to replace ZHunter on my hunter and use it across all my toons to free up some much needed space on my action bars. But if the settings used are account wide, and not just single toon, it's making it more of a hassle then it's worth sadly.

New patch up for 3.1 compatibility. Sorry Saeru, you just have to de-click it all. What I would do is either uncheck XCompanionBar in your addons list to not load it (or just hide it through the config) and create a custom bar for the mounts and companions you want to use.

Is there away to clear all selected skillz from all the bars? This is just what I needed, but nothing like logging into my main and seeing a bar span across and beyond my screen with all her non combat pets and mounts. I tell you this is a lot of clicking to remove em all, and here all I want are 4 mounts visible and her mascot white tickbird.. ;.; Or least a simple way to delete the default bars so we can start fresh?

Runeforging does not show up on XTradeBar on German client, in the /config menu it's listed with the English name instead of the German one.

Dr. Doom, The +/- fix worked, but I'm having the same problem legolasi reported below... trade bar toggle shows up, but I can't bring up the bar itself... no icons. All other bars appear to be working (at least, for my hunter - haven't tried other characters).

Fixes for 3.0.8 posted. Please note that cyCircled support has been officially discontinued (though the plugin exists in 3.13 and before). Users are encouraged to switch to ButtonFacade. Also, XCustomBar has been officially merged with XBar. The reasoning is that when XCustomBar was created, it added much more overhead to the interface. Now that all the features it supported have been integrated into the main XBar core, there is no reason to keep them as separate mods.

hey DrDoom. Cooking now works fine and the bug I've reportet seems to be fixed. Thank your for your work :) I've only the problem with the Deathknight and the new profession Rune Forging (hope this is the right word because I only know the german one). It's the same problem as with cooking before. It is marked in the tradebar-menu but doesn't appear with an button :(

I've edited XBuffBar to include some more Death Knight buffs and would like to suggest that these be officially included. My list of Death Knight buffs is now as follows: "Path of Frost", "Icebound Fortitude", "Horn of Winter", "Unbreakable Armor", "Anti-Magic Shell", "Anti-Magic Zone", "Bone Shield", "Empower Rune Weapon", "Dancing Rune Weapon", "Unholy Aura", "Army of the Dead", I've only added these to the XBuffBar Localization.en.lua file, I'm afraid I don't have the localizations for other languages.

hello DrDoom cooking seems to work fine now. Wuhu. but now I have a the same problem with the death-knights runes stamping (don't know the right word for that and hope you understand what I mean). The button doesn't appear in the trade-bar. Before your last update it does. your hint to change line 15 doesn't help but thanks for your answer.

New version up with fixes and improvements. @Littlemaxi: More than likely, that error should not cause any problems with XBar's actual operation. LibBabble likes to throw up errors that may or may not be serious, depending on how the host mod uses it. Try changing line 15 of XBuffBar\Localization.en.lua to change the value to "#Deathknight", and see if that will fix the issue. I can't seem to reproduce that error when I test for it.

Dr. Doom, I wasn't sure if I wanted to report this, but the XPBar in XPetStuffBar 3.02 doesn't seem to work - the bar is always full. I re-loaded 3.01 and it works fine. Only reason I was unsure of reporting was that 3.01 is more than adequate for me - I personally don't think you need to boldly go where 3.02 takes you - your call, of course. Thanks again for all the work in keeping this mod up.

I hate having to make ghetto workarounds for stuff like this, and it seems that it is frequently the German client. Someone at Blizzard is falling asleep in that department... I'm not sure I can do it like Anxarces did easily, I might just have to do something else.

I'm using Titan Professions (http://wowui.worldofwar.net/?p=mod&m=5033), too, and I've noticed that the author of Titan Professions, Anxarces, has fixed an issue in the German version with cooking not opening with a grand master skill. Perhaps Anxarces can help you? That would be wonderful. :)

I've the same issue than elfo. The cooking grand master doesn't appear in the trade bar and I'm using the german client, too.

I'll add that to my list of things to do.

Fixed a bunch of issues in v3.02 and 3.03. I have not been able to find out anything more about cooking, is anyone else having that problem that uses a German client?

The button for Cooking Grand Master does still not work in XTradeBar on German clients, all other professions seem to work.

XConjureBar has been updated to work under XBar v3.xx (although the author has stated that he will probably abandon it soon), but still nothing about when or if XHealBar will get updated. Thanks for posting these issues, I will be working on resolving these. Grizzly: The #hunter heading is merely for the menu system, and is not necessary for the buttons to show. They might be showing up in whatever the previous section was (I'm not at my comp so I can't check). Bestial Wrath and Rapid fire show on XBuffBar for my hunter. As for the pet abilities, it is really not feasible at this time to make another pet bar, but you can make one using XCustomBar (set the spellbook to Pet for each spell). See if that helps.

Most of my bars work great on all my toons with the exception of my Shaman and his Totem bar .. i get an error when i try to move it and it will not move .. all other bars i have no issue with moving them. The button for the cooking grand master doesn't work for me with the german client. Doesn't appear in the trade-bar. Reload-ui doesn't help. Please can you try to fix this?

I've been toying with a couple of ideas of my own: adding lists of the pet special abilities that you need to trigger manually (for example, Carrion Feeder) so that you don't have to waste one of the 4 pet slots just for that. The other idea has been for one called XFeralBar that would show feral druid abilities, but would change depending on if you were in Cat or Bear or Moonkin or Treant. That one has been quite a little bit trickier. =j

Thanks for putting Trueshot Aura back on XBuffBar and also for fixing the problem with the Interface-->Addons buttons. However, there's now another problem with XBuffBar, nothing shows for my hunter! Checking under the XBuffBar options, there's no Hunter options, so I took a look at the Localization.en.lua and noticed that you'd forgotton to include the "#Hunter", heading. Also, I use 2 bars by other authors, XConjureBar and XHealBar. Neither of these bars will display under the new XBar v3.xx. I'm not sure if the authors will be updating, XConjureBar was updated 23 days ago so that might get updated, but XHealBar hasn't been updated since March 28 2008 so I suspect that one may well be dead! I'm guessing there's no easy way (at least for me) to update those or make them compatible, so, is there any chance you could find a way to make them usable? Please? ;)

Comments noted, I'll put them up in the new version. I'll see about adding the runeforging to buff bar. A note about XTradeBar, I removed the rogue skills because after there was no more poisons, it seemed pointless to retain them (I think someone had requested that a long time ago because they didn't use XRogueBar). I will likely add the Runeforging to XTradeBar, as that's the most logical place to put it. At this point, it doesn't seem very feasible to make a whole other bar for Death Knights. I've been toying with an idea for another bar with conjurables (spells and items), so we'll see how that works. The new system helps me do that too. As for the problems with the interface->addons buttons, I am looking into that. In the mean time, please use /xbar config and /xcustombar config Sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

With the latest v3.00 whenever I open the main options window (Options-Interface-Addons), as soon as I click on XBar I get an error and the entire right side of the frame goes blank for every addon and all the standard, Blizzard UI, options. Meaning I cannot change any options for ANYTHING! It also prevents calling up any individual config frames! Please add Runeforging to either XTradeBar or XBuffBar. I notice you've now removed Pick Lock and Pick Pocket from XTradeBar, so I'd guess that you don't want to include class skills/abilities on XTradeBar? So maybe adding Runeforging to XBuffBar under the Death Knight section would be the better choice? Also, could you please add Trueshot Aura back to XBuffBar? For me this change caused problems with my XBar layout so I added it back to XBuffBar myself, no need to remove it from XAspectBar, that way users can have the choice as to which bar they want it showing on!

Would be nice if the new Deathknight ability to make runes could be included in XTradeBar.

I'm very pleased to announce version 3.00 posted just a few hours before WotLK is release. READ THE PATCH NOTES!! This is a major patch and there are a lot of changes.

Littlemaxi: Oh hey that's probably a typo. That is for the rogue ability, which has no space in it. Not sure why its showing up on a priest though. I would just ignore that for now. I'll fix it at some point soon, thanks for letting me know.

LittleMaxi: Got lucky and spotted the error in XAspectBar. Posted a fix up as 2.06.

Posted up 2.05 with a fix for the LibXSpellID errors when XBarLocalizer is disabled, new pet XP bar with XPetStuffBar, and happiness for all those with lots of companions trying to turn some of them off. Elsu: that error will show in 2.04 if you don't have XBarLocalizer enabled. That is fixed in 2.05 I just posted. LittleMaxi: You couldn't split up XWarlockBar, but you could just turn off the curses on it, and make one with XCustomBar that has just your curses. As far as XAspectBar, I don't know why it's not working on the German client for you, it should work the way I did it now. Make sure you have XBarLocalizer enabled, and make sure the buttons didn't get turned off last time you had a problem with it. You might try deleting your savedvariables for XBar (see FAQ.TXT) so it will re-create the database. Not having a german client myself, I can't troubleshoot it well.

I've tested the new version (2.04) and all seems to work fine - except the aspectbar. I'm using the german client and aspectbar doesn't show any aspect. It would be wonderfull if you can try to fix this and bring this bar to work on german clients, too. I love your mod and it makes my wow-day so easy :) Just one question - is it possible to split the warlockedbar into the four bars which I can wrap it into? That I can take the curses near by my actionbar and the others (demon etc) to another place?

Aspect Bar is still not working on German client (v2.04), though all other bars are working well. However I made a custom bar for the aspects which solved the problem for me.

Small error popped up in 2.03, fixed it here in 2.04.

I redid the localization system for 2.03. I ended up having to write my own library to replace Babble-Spell, since the author discontinued it.

Ok, Babble-2.2 has not been updated for compatibility with the new version of WoW. Not having any client except enUS and enGB myself, I don't have a way to ensure that the localizations are being performed correctly. I'll look into it, but the best way to fix it is if someone updates babble to compatibility with 3.02.

I'm using the german client and just tested the 2.02-version and now all bars are broken :( they show nothing.

2.02 up with a lot of changes, check it out.
