TradeJunkie shows you what tradeskills you are missing.

Tradeskills marked in green are currently learnable while red means you need to level your skill more until you can learn it.

The Show All check box in the window will toggle between showing only the recipes that you can learn vs. all the recipes in the database.

This version is complete rewrite. Idea, all operations, UI resources and database created by dragonflyy in original TradeJunkie (http://wowui.incgamers.com/ui.php?id=4428) stays the same, while code itself is completely rewriten from scratch.

Patch notes for TradeJunkie v2.11
v2.11
- Updated some recipe data.
- For the fans of ArmorCraft addon, its buttons are now detected and TJ button is anchored accordingly in standart tradeskill window to prevent buttons from covering each other.

solved my problem, i extracted the file flatly (unrar e), which didn't create subfolders, so it couldn't find the database files. did it right (unrar x) and it works great, thanks for this cool mod.

Hi Rowaa!I'm not sure where to report any errors found so I thought I would post any I find here. If there's a better place do let me know. Oh, and I'd like to add that my copy of this is working wonderfully, and I REALLY love this mod. Thank you so very much.Ok the error I have is for engineering. TradeJunkie reports that Bronze Framework is learnable by the trainer at 140. It's actually 145. Also, a note on Inlaid Mithril Cylinder Plans saying that it's gnomish engineering specialty would be cool.

@StarNocturno: The file is supposed to be an .RAR file not a zip. Rename it to 1188383307-336044691-788093014.rar and then use winrar to decompress it, or download the one from my comment below yours and then use winrar.

1188383307-336044691-788093014.zip , got the same issue and says file is corrupted when i try to open it. you stated "If you received it with .zip name from server then it could be recent file naming problems mentioned on front page" was looking around on the front page of the site to see where this was mentioned and if there was a fix for it but couldnt find anything unfortunately. would really love to get this mod to work for me, then i can abolish the excel documents i made to track the recipes my different toons dont know lol

Okay looked through it and worked on it a bit, added specializations and started localization (shudder.) Lemme know if I messed anything up hehe. This is the full download ... if anyone else wants to use it by all means go ahead. http://www.bia-gc.com/wow/TradeJunkie.rar

Never had this mod before, but from what I've seen from the screenshot, it's going to an awesomely handy tool. Tyvm for keeping this baby alive so I have the honor & priviledge of using it :) Oh, and RAR FTW!! ZIP FTL!! Damn zip conformists. Don't follow Microstuffed!

Wow, just .. wow people. All you can complain about is that the system that we choose to use is messing up a file. It used to support RAR and personally RAR is much better than zip, always has been. Also if you use WinRAR it is free it just has a nag window that pops-up when you open it. Been using the same installed program for like the last 2 years. Still uncompresses just has a pop-up when opened. However, god forbid you actually support a software programmer and *gasp* pay for a program to use it. As for wowui and their problem with the rar/zip thing ... talk to them it's their site that is messing up. If Rowaa is uploading an rar and the site is making it a zip that is not his fault and he doesn't have to use zip. By the way, DarkkonDarkspell if it is that much of a problem for you to use the addon then here is a bit of advice for you, DO NOT USE THE ADDON ... that will solve all of you problems. @Rowaa My god, I haven't been watching much on ... your addon. I call it yours because it is so much better and more powerful than when I first started this addon. *bows* you sir are an excellent programmer and I thank you for keeping my dream alive. I removed the original TradeJunkie from their database, clicking on the link in your description won't work anymore. DragonFlyy

@DrakkonDarkspell Your a rather inconsiderate person bashing on someone who took over the mod to help it progress. Honestly you should apologize for being such a dumbXXX. The truth of the matter is, that the updater should be able to use rar files as well, however it doesn't. All we can do is ask that Rowaa use zip files for this site so the updater works correctly. If he doesn't, guess what... nothing you can do about it except go bug the updater author to fix that.

So sorry you can't be bothered to do things the right way. It looks like the site itself is setting your RAR files as ZIPs. You're not going to find peace until you learn to conform to standards. The standard for this site is ZIP.

1188383307-336044691-788093014.zip .. some bug with the file name?

Rar...Zip, who cares? the point here is that the file is showing as invalid to anyone using the build in Windows Zip program (the majority of users) The file is being dowloaded as a .zip file. Until they fix the problem here, it would be best to pack it as a .zip or upload it to another site.

OTOH, it is very humbly of you to force me to change my archiving format of choice that I use over 10 years already and quite a few of us like too, right? Please, stop inventing you 99% numbers. It is either horrible misinformation or plain lie, since numbers don't quite match: So far 3 other my addons were distributed in .rar (with 2 of them having over thousand downloads) and I can count "gimme .zip" complains by fingers of my hand. Speaking of money, I urge you to actually check those unpackers first: unrar, official unpacker was and will always be free. Other compression software that can handle .rar, like 7-zip for example, are even open source.

Rowaa, I appreciate the devotion you have to RAR, but more than a few of us use the auto updater program that the site here puts out, and it won't update your addon unless you have it in a ZIP format. Personal feelings, aside, its very hubristic of you to force us to convert to your format (especially since they make you pay for every program that can unpack it) when everyone else is using ZIP. Xylan, check out a mod called "RecipeBook". It tracks every recipe that you and your alts know. I have yet to find a good all in one addon that gives me an enhanced trade skills window, a list of the recipes I don't already know but can learn, and a listing of vendors in my zurrent zone and worldwide who sell recipes that are relevant to my interests. I use a mixture of ATSW, Recipe Radar, Recipebook (also shares your known recipes with guildmates, too), and TradeJunkie. The only real problem with TradeJunkie is that its in an unusable format for 99% of us out there. RAR is better than ZIP, but you can't get a free unpacker to work with it, so its fairly worthless to the casual user. I can do without it.

It is distributed as .rar archive. If you received it with .zip name from server then it could be recent file naming problems mentioned on front page. Obviously, Windows built-in won't open a .rar archive. Xylan, no, this addon only shows skills for current character. Considering that most top recipes are faction, BoP or otherwise obtainable only by current character, I don't see much use of tracking other characters right now. For simple AH searches or tracking other things that can be bought there's other addons that could be useful, like RecipeBook that will color recipe icons according to their status and will tell you which one of your other characters know or may learn them.

The author must have use a zip program thats not compatible with the built in windows zip program as it causes errors. It works fine with Winrar and 7zip
