I wanted to be able to see my haste rating, so I added it to the character screen. If you have haste rating, it'll replace the Spell Penetration field.

Quite likely the shortest mod in existence.


ATTENTION: this mod will not make you move faster or walk through walls. No, really.

Updated, now shows melee / ranged haste instead, if you have that.

Check out Block Value tooltip: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info7482-BlockValueTooltip.html That guy has inserted his block value inside the existing tooltip, leaving the rest of the tooltip information there. Perhaps you could analyse that code and do something simliar, inserting the Haste rating into the Spell Penetration field without losing anything. Just a thought. :)

can't you make a new frame with just the hasteinformation and keep spell penetration under the spell category?

What's so bad about hastehack? That's just what it is, a hack to show the haste. Please keep in mind that hack is just slang for alteration in coding. Plus I don't know one person on my server that stacks spell penetration, in theory the stat is good but people stack too much resilience to make it a stat worth going for.

You could rename your addon, because Hastehack is not so good XD. What the people will think about it? It's a pity that for it need to remove spell penetration.
