Ever wished World of Warcraft had more emotes? Or wanted to create your own emotes that you could use like the regular ones? Well, now you can! AddEmote lets you easily create new /command emotes for all your characters.

It works like this:

/addemote rubchin rubs his chin.
/rubchin
Efindel rubs his chin.

But it also includes ChatSubs, which gives you substitution strings to generalize your emotes. See the included README.txt for full details, but for a quick example:

/addemote dumbclass rolls <hisher> eyes and says, "Well, I wouldn't expect any better from a <targetclass> like you, <target>."
/target Noobkiller
/dumbclass
Efindel rolls his eyes and says, "Well, I wouldn't expect any better from a death knight like you, Noobkiller."

You can also give multiple possibilities, by separating them with vertical bars (|), like so:

/addemote eyeroll sighs and rolls <hisher> eyes.|rolls <hisher> eyes with a small shake of the head.

AddEmote will randomly choose one of these and emote it. If one or more of the emote strings uses <target>, <focus>, <pet>, or the like, AddEmote will eliminate those that use a unit that doesn't exist. So:

/addemote petcheck looks <pet> over for injuries.|looks around to see where <hisher> pet has gone.

This will do the first if you have a pet out, and the second if you do not.

Lastly, you can use <text> in your emote, and any text you type after the /command will be placed there. For example:

/addemote ps 's <pettype> <pet> says, "<text>"

/ps I demand better pay!

Bonefire 's imp Gobkin says, "I demand better pay!"

Patch notes for AddEmote 2.2
2.2:
- reformatted /listemotes' list to alphabetize the emotes and fit them better in the default chat box

2.1.2:
- updated TOC for WoW 3.3
- updated ChatSubs to 2.2.2, adding <mouseover> substitution

2.1.1:
- bugfix version

2.0:
- Added the ability to have AddEmote choose between multiple emote strings.

1.0:
- character-specific emotes are supported
- interface improvements (/listemotes gives nicer output, /showemote added)
- ChatSubs has a new, easier to remember syntax for substitution strings

Well, I'm not going to be mad at you for saying WoWMatrix... But you can also try downloading the new bugfix version I've just put up. And please, if you get errors with this or any of my other mods, report them to me so I can fix them! The email in my README is the fastest way to reach me, but if you post a comment here, I will see it -- it just may take a couple of days, since I don't check here every day.
